Nashville, Tenn. – August 18, 2022 – Mployer Advisor, the leading independent platform for employers to research, review, and evaluate insurance brokers, is pleased to announce that it has been named a finalist in the Technology Startup category for the 2022 NEXT Awards, an annual event put on by the Nashville Entrepreneur Center (NEC).

The 2022 NEXT Awards is a ceremony that recognizes entrepreneurs who are transforming industries and strengthening the Middle Tennessee community and beyond. The 2022 NEXT Awards will be hosted at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in downtown Nashville on Wednesday, October 24, where the winners will be announced.

“We are thrilled and honored to be named a finalist among such an exceptional group of entrepreneurs,” said Brian Freeman, Mployer Advisor’s Founder and CEO. “So much of who we are as a company and the success we have experienced is because of the incredible support, ingenuity, and passion we have found among Nashville’s rare community of business leaders.”

The NEC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) founded in 2010 by business leaders who wanted to support the next generation of entrepreneurs and to celebrate the spirit and tenacity of the entrepreneurial community. The NEC serves as Nashville’s center for entrepreneurship, supporting visionaries—from every background, in any industry, and at all phases—by connecting them to critical resources and championing their desire to change the world.

“Each entrepreneur’s work is inspiring and deserves to be recognized,” said Jane Allen, CEO of the NEC. “I am so proud of our entrepreneurial community and our partners who help us do the work we do. We are excited to shine a light on so many in our community and look forward to celebrating and honoring each of them.”
