In a survey of almost 18 thousand employees across more than 16 markets worldwide, nearly 5 out of 10 respondents reported feeling stressed.

Further, when prompted with a question about what aspects of their on-the-job experience would most likely contribute to feelings of burnout, the top response was pressure at 54%, followed by bad management at 39%, and a toxic work culture at 37%.

Related to those burnout-contributing factors, more than 4 out of 10 respondents did not believe they could freely express their thoughts and opinions to management without potentially facing negative consequences, although 7 out of 10 believed that their company would be there to support them in the event of an emergency.
